each of which depicts one
of the five senses plus a
sixth, entitled Mon seul
Desir, "To My Sole Desire".

Woven in Brusselsin
around 1500 by Willem de
Pannemaker, the orginals
are displayed in Paris'
Cluny Museum. This
particular one depicts The
Sight, the design in each
tapestry depicts a particulr
acitivity in each tapestry
indicating the sense to
which it is attributed.
